Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Davidson County, TN As a Staff Accountant, you would be responsible for assisting with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes for multiple locations throughout the US. · Prepare and post monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. · Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. · Analyze financial data and investigate account variances. · Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including accruals and prepaid expenses. · Support SEC reporting requirements and compliance with SOX controls. · Assist with external and internal audits by providing requested schedules and documentation. · Prepare financial reports and support management reporting initiatives. · Ensure adherence to GAAP and company accounting policies. · Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve accounting issues and improve processes. · Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. What we need from you: · Minimum of 2+ years of multi-location GAAP accounting experience · Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required · Experience supporting SEC reporting is preferred · Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (X/VLOOKUP, data analysis)· Familiarity working on ERP systems such as Workday, Netsuite, Oracle, or similar platforms Must be comfortable working in office 4 days/week Benefits include: 401k with company match, annual bonus, Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO/holiday pay provided Pay $70-85,000 Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year Search managed by: Holland Hunt Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
