Lateral Mid-Level Tax Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a lateral mid-level tax associate to join their team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of tax experience, particularly in renewable energy tax credits or corporate transactions involving private equity. Duties Provide legal advice on tax matters related to renewable energy tax credits. Assist in corporate transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Draft and review legal documents with precision and attention to detail. Collaborate with a team to deliver comprehensive legal solutions. Requirements 2+ years of relevant tax experience. Strong writing and drafting skills. Attention to detail and a hardworking attitude. Active member of the Bar in the state of residence or ability to waive in. In-office presence at least 3 business days per week. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of residence. Skills Excellent drafting and writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
