Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to inform and develop personalized treatment plans for clients seeking counseling.

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting your approach to each client's specific needs and circumstances.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems and software.

• Stay abreast of current trends, research, and developments in the mental health field by attending workshops and professional development opportunities.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Phoenix Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and life transitions. Your role is crucial in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys by providing compassionate care and effective therapy based on their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing counseling services, ideally in a clinical setting.

• Strong awareness of ethical guidelines and relevant legal regulations governing counseling practice.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.
