Sales Operations Analyst

LHH is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst for a direct hire job opportunity in Charlotte, NC! We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support the effectiveness of a growing organization. This role will focus on improving sales performance through accurate reporting, consistent forecasting, strong CRM discipline, and data-driven insights. This is a hands-on position that partners closely with sales leadership to improve visibility into business performance and ensure operational consistency across the sales process. This position is in office in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting tools
- Track key metrics including revenue, pipeline activity, and margin performance
- Analyze trends and provide clear, actionable insights to support decision-making
- Support the forecasting process and maintain consistent reporting cadence
- Monitor pipeline health and identify potential risks or gaps
- Partner with sales teams to improve forecast accuracy and visibility
- Maintain data integrity within the CRM system (Salesforce or similar)
- Ensure opportunities are accurately tracked and updated
- Identify and address gaps in data quality and reporting consistency
- Reinforce standardized sales processes and opportunity management practices
- Support improvements to workflows, tools, and reporting structures
- Drive adoption of best practices across the sales organization
- Assist in evaluating deal performance, pricing trends, and margin impact
- Provide visibility into discounting and pricing effectiveness
- Support efforts to improve overall pricing consistency and profitability
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or commercial analytics
- Strong experience with forecasting, pipeline reporting, and CRM systems
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Background in a B2B environment, ideally within industrial, manufacturing, or technical products sectors
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate data into meaningful insights
