Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• Support the consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Support internal and external financial reporting requirements
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
• Assist with audit support, documentation, and compliance requirements
• Support accounting and reporting activities related to healthcare operations or federally funded programs, as applicable

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 2-5 years of accounting experience
• Experience with Uniform Guidance single audits or healthcare accounting required
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with financial reporting, consolidations, or general ledger accounting
• Exposure to investment, fund, or grant accounting is a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement flow
• Proficiency in Excel with the ability to work effectively with large data sets
