Assistant Project Manager (Construction)SRC Construction, a Carabetta company, is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support construction projects across Connecticut. This role works closely with Project Managers and field teams to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and compliant with safety and quality standards.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist with project planning, scopes, and schedulingCoordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and clientsInterpret drawings, contracts, and technical documentsTrack project progress and maintain daily reports/logsHelp manage subcontractor scheduling and material procurementSupport quality control and ensure work meets specificationsAssist in resolving project issues, delays, and field challengesSupport job site safety compliance, inspections, and documentationQualifications include:2–5+ years of construction experience (Assistant PM, Project Coordinator, or similar)Experience with historic restoration / SHPO projects preferredKnowledge of: Masonry and architectural restorationDemo, lead/asbestos abatement, and site remediationStructural rehab (foundations, walls, shoring, etc.)Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contractsExperience coordinating with local municipalities and utility companiesProficient in Microsoft Excel and scheduling software (MS Project preferred)OSHA 10 required (or ability to obtain)Skills include:Strong communication and organizational skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projectsProblem-solving and time management abilitiesComfortable working in both office and field environmentsAt The Carabetta Companies, we hold ourselves to high standards and seek team members who share our commitment to excellence.
