Maintenance MechanicExpress Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and experienced candidates for a Maintenance Mechanic position with a local manufacturer of packaging. This position will pay $30.76 per hour and will work a 2/2/3 rotating schedule from 6PM to 6AM.ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance on a variety of machinesMaintain/repair water, gas, air, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsOperator industrial lifts (Boom, Scissor lifts, etc.)Install, test, adjust and repair mechanical systems, electrical systems and equipment in facility and warehousesUse computer software to manage length of repair time, and follow maintenance schedule to complete tasksComplies with all company safety rules and quality policies and protocols at all times.Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essentialQualificationsAble to lift 50 lbs.Must have 3+ years industrial maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environmentMust have experience with reading blueprints and diagramsPossess basic mathematical skillsDemonstrates electrical / mechanical aptitudeMust have own toolsAble to work at heights and in overhead structures, work beneath machines and in close quarters or confined spaces, performing analysis and repair workCapable of working with fumes, inks, cleaners and alcohol, hot/humid in the summer environmentCapable of complying with all safety requirements including the use of PPE: ear plugs, safety glasses and foot protection
