Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of each student, enabling the creation of personalized treatment plans.

• Provide short-term individual counseling, addressing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and relationships, along with crisis intervention services as needed.

• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops focused on pertinent topics such as stress management, self-esteem, and strategic academic planning.

• Collaborate closely with academic advisors, faculty, residential life staff, and student organizations to create a supportive network for comprehensive student assistance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of college students, addressing the unique challenges they face during their educational journey. Qualifications\n

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) .

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of the mental health needs specifically impacting college students, including their social, emotional, and developmental challenges.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with students and collaborating effectively with a diverse campus community.
