Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include Benchmark , General Catalyst , Peter Thiel , Adam D'Angelo , Larry Summers , and Jack Dorsey .
Position: Business Development Contractor
Type: Contract
Compensation: $35–$50/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: Up to 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Identify and contact prospective data partners to explore data-licensing opportunities.
- Lead discovery calls and effectively communicate the value of partnerships.
- Address questions regarding data use, privacy, security, and anonymization.
- Manage opportunities from initial outreach through to closing agreements.
- Coordinate partner onboarding processes with internal teams.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales.
- Confidence speaking with founders, executives, and business owners.
- Availability to contribute up to 40 hours per week .
