Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Payroll Assistant for our client. This job is responsible for assisting with employee timekeeping, attendance reviews, payroll record maintenance, and payroll orientation support while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely completion of tasks.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Set up temporary employees in the timekeeping system.
• Review daily attendance sheets and identify pay-related issues.
• Maintain payroll files and storage records.
• Provide backup support for payroll orientation when the supervisor is unavailable.
• Ensure payroll information is entered accurately and records are properly maintained.
• Handle confidential payroll and employee information appropriately.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• Previous payroll experience; Paycor experience preferred.
• Accurate data entry and strong record-keeping skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling payroll and employee information.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
