This role is fundamentally remote, providing you with the flexibility to create a comfortable and effective workspace while maintaining close connections with clients through teletherapy and in-person visits at our newly designed outpatient offices, located in Newport News, Virginia. Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Embrace Shift Wellness, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of couples and family dynamics, developing tailored treatment plans that encompass both individual and collective goals.

• Facilitate therapy sessions with couples, addressing significant issues such as communication barriers, conflicts, and emotional disconnects.
\n
• Provide therapy for a range of challenges, including but not limited to grief and loss, blended family situations, job stress, and adjustment to separation or divorce.
\n
• Engage with families to navigate psychological abuse, substance abuse, and the complexities of blended family structures.
\n
• Monitor patient progress and regularly adjust treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
\n
• Document therapy sessions and patient interactions meticulously, adhering to ethical and confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clinical focus will encompass a diverse client base including adults, children, and adolescents. You will specialize in working with couples and families experiencing multifaceted issues such as:

• Grief and loss
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts among family members

• Challenges faced by blended families

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Additionally, you must possess:

• An active and valid LMFT license in Virginia

Embrace Shift Wellness offers competitive compensation for our therapists, with an annual salary range of USD 75,000 – 100,000. Additional benefits include:
