About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Philanthropy to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive philanthropic revenue strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sustainable funding to support the organization's mission and strategic priorities. This includes cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual donors, foundations, corporations, faith-based organizations, and community partners. The role demands a strategic partner who can work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Leadership Team to strengthen and diversify revenue streams. The Vice President of Philanthropy will be evaluated on measurable fundraising outcomes, donor portfolio growth, and long-term revenue sustainability. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 7 years' of fundraising experience, including at least 3 years' in a senior leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing major gifts, cultivating high-value donor relationships, and securing foundation and grant funding. Experience in social services, housing, homelessness services, behavioral health, healthcare, or faith-based nonprofit organizations is also preferred. The role requires a strategic executive leader with the ability to secure transformational gifts, build sustainable donor relationships, and develop effective fundraising systems. The Vice President of Philanthropy will be expected to operate as a trusted advisor to the CEO and to position the organization for long-term philanthropic growth and sustainability.
