About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President to lead enterprise scenario design for the Americas Division. This role is pivotal in the development, governance, and execution of enterprise stress tests, including those for capital adequacy assessment and strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that scenario methodologies, assumptions, and governance processes align with U.S. regulatory expectations and the standards of the group. Key responsibilities include developing macroeconomic forecasts for stress scenarios, coordinating with various risk stripes, and maintaining a robust scenario design policy. The role demands a deep understanding of macroeconomic trends, emerging risks, and a strong background in scenario design, stress testing, and risk management within a large financial institution. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline, with a Master’s, MBA, or PhD preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in relevant fields is required, with a focus on scenario design, stress testing, and capital planning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing macroeconomic scenarios for stress testing, particularly in large and complex banking organizations. Strong knowledge of U.S. regulatory expectations, including CCAR and capital planning guidance, is essential. The role also requires the ability to build strong relationships with business partners, lead strategic discussions, and effectively communicate scenario results to senior management and regulators.
