Job Title: Clinical Technician, Dialysis
Location: Dearborn, MI 48126
Work Schedule: 4/10's; 4:00 AM–2:30 PM or 9:00 AM–7:30 PM, Monday–Saturday. Must work 3 Saturdays in a 6-week period.
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Scheduled pay: Bi-Weekly

Clinical Technician, Dialysis Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during hemodialysis and communicate important updates to the care team
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations
• Reinforce patient education and support patient understanding of care
• Document patient care, observations, and incidents accurately
• Follow unit procedures and daily operational workflows
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow infection control and HIPAA guidelines
• Perform technical dialysis duties including machine setup, disinfection, and cannulation
• Perform blood draws as needed
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support quality patient care

Clinical Technician, Dialysis Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma required/ Associate’s Degree in science preferred
• 1 year dialysis experience - Required
• BLS certification - Required
• Dialysis clinical technician certification required within 18 months of hire
