Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests across various fields-such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology-according to established guidelines.
• Ensure the accuracy of results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform essential maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and preparation for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, train new team members or interns, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace, complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Certification must be kept current during employment.
