Work Environment

As an onsite physical therapist within our 5,000 square foot rehabilitation facility, you will work closely with a team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). We maintain a collaborative environment where best practices are shared, and professional development is encouraged. Our workspace is designed to foster patient interaction while promoting a healing atmosphere where progress is at the forefront of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical function and develop tailored care plans.
• Directly treat 2-3 patients per hour, employing various therapeutic modalities to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop innovative treatment strategies that focus on non-surgical interventions.
• Incorporate manual therapy techniques to improve patient outcomes and expedite recovery processes.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness regimens tailored to each patient's abilities and goals.
• Continuously monitor progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery trajectories.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to synchronize care efforts and achieve comprehensive health management for our patients.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient treatments and outcomes, utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Inspire and motivate patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation journeys, emphasizing the importance of strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult patients, including athletes and active community members who seek to enhance their performance or recover from injuries. Our patient demographic often includes those dealing with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Ensuring a comprehensive approach to care that respects each individual's goals and lifestyle is at the heart of our practice.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• No history of disciplinary action on your license, reflecting a commitment to professional conduct.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and patient assessment.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Experience working in a Sports Medicine environment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based rehabilitation practices and innovative therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
