Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct therapeutic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and cultural backgrounds of clients.

• Facilitate both individual and family therapy sessions, engaging clients in meaningful dialogue to promote healing and connection.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to guide treatment.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and therapy notes using Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.

• Engage in regular case consultations with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care and address complex client needs.

• Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to facilitate optimal outcomes.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions and documentation.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, adults, and families, addressing various mental health issues. Our client population seeks support for a wide array of challenges such as trauma, grief, cultural identity, and LGBTQ+ issues. Your ability to provide bilingual therapy in both Spanish and English will enhance our outreach and effectiveness, making a significant impact in the lives of individuals from different cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree from an accredited program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Active, unrestricted LMFT licensure in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• At least two years of experience in a mental health setting, providing therapy to children, adults, and families.

• Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills, particularly in providing bilingual psychotherapy services (Spanish and English).

• Demonstrated ability to work respectfully with diverse populations and to adapt therapy methods to meet culturally specific needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or additional training in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Experience using EHR systems and Microsoft Office suite effectively.

• Willingness to provide in-person therapy sessions at our community health clinic and to be an in-network provider for at least one insurance panel.

• Previous completion of HIPAA training with an understanding of confidentiality requirements.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time LMFT position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
