Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Better Movement, you will undertake various responsibilities to ensure comprehensive mental health care for individuals and families:

• Conduct therapy sessions with couples and their family units, allowing you to address relationships and interpersonal dynamics.

• Provide individual counseling sessions that focus on personal growth, mental health concerns, and emotional well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to tackle a wide range of family issues, including but not limited to:\n

  • Alcohol abuse and addiction.
  \n
  • Physical and psychological abuse recovery.
  \n
  • Coping strategies for grief and loss.
  \n
  • Resolving conflicts among family members and siblings.
  \n
  • Managing job-related stress and its implications for family life.
  \n
  • Navigating medical issues within the family context.
  \n
  • Supporting blended families through transitions such as remarriage.
  \n
  • Facilitating adjustment processes related to separation and divorce.
  \n
  • Enhancing communication skills to reduce misunderstandings, such as mother/daughter conflicts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will be diverse, serving adults as well as children and adolescents. This role enables you to address unique challenges within family systems and help clients navigate various life transitions. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
