\nSalary: $200k base & performance bonuses
\n \nAbout the Role
\nJoin our high-growth tech-enabled specialty insurance startup that's added 500+ mid-market commercial clients in our first year alone. We're looking for an experienced insurance leader to convert qualified leads and own risk management for a key business vertical. This is not a traditional producer role – you'll focus on closing deals and strategic oversight rather than prospecting or day-to-day account management.
\n \nWhat You'll Do
\n· Convert qualified leads through consultative selling and risk expertise
\n· Own and develop the risk management strategy for your commercial vertical
\n· Engage in high-impact client touchpoints including proposal presentations
\n· Partner with Lead Risk Advisors who handle ongoing account management
\n· Develop tailored commercial solutions for mid-market clients ($50K-$5M GWP)
\n· Apply your expertise precisely where it creates maximum value
\n \nWhat We're Looking For
\n· 7-12+ years commercial insurance experience (brokerage or underwriting)
\n· Proven talent for winning clients through relationship-building and consultative selling
\n· Advanced commercial risk assessment capabilities
\n· Outstanding communication and persuasion skills
\n· Ability to quickly understand client needs across different verticals
\n· Specialty knowledge in consumer brands, restaurants/hospitality, technology, or specific lines (property, cyber, management liability)
