Location: Century City / Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 annually Schedule: Full-Time | Non-Exempt Join a Highly Respected California Law Firm Through Express Employment Professionals Express Employment Professionals is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Trust & Estate Paralegal on behalf of a prestigious California law firm. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned paralegal who enjoys working on sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, probate, and trust and estate litigation matters while collaborating with a highly respected legal team. This hybrid position requires working in the Century City office 2–3 days per week . What You’ll Do As a key member of the Trusts & Estates team, you will manage a wide variety of matters from inception through completion, including: Coordinate probate court filings and recordings while ensuring compliance with California local court rules. Prepare probate administration documents, including petitions, orders, pleadings, Judicial Council forms, and supporting filings. Assist attorneys with trust and estate litigation, including document management, pleadings, exhibits, discovery, and trial preparation. Support all aspects of trust administration. Prepare draft accountings in accordance with the California Probate Code. Prepare federal gift tax and estate tax returns. Draft basic estate planning documents and coordinate document execution. Communicate regularly with clients, fiduciaries, accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to gather information and move matters forward. Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Qualifications We’re seeking an experienced professional who offers: 5+ years of Trust & Estate Paralegal experience with the ability to work independently. California Paralegal Certificate (required). Experience handling California probate, trust administration, and estate planning matters. Experience with California trust and estate litigation is strongly preferred. Experience preparing gift tax and estate tax returns is preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills. Excellent drafting abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology used for document management, e‑discovery, and trial preparation. Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
