Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized, couple, and family therapy services via telehealth sessions and, as needed, in-person consultations at our outpatient office.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to discern clients' relational and psychological needs. Develop tailored treatment plans that include goals for therapy and appropriate interventions.

• Employ family systems theory and systemic therapeutic interventions to address complex family dynamics and improve communication patterns.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary to safeguard the wellbeing of clients and their families.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Facilitate client education sessions focusing on vital life skills, such as communication enhancement, conflict resolution techniques, and resilience-building strategies.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Must hold current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
