Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant (Healthcare) Brooklyn, NY (Onsite, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM) $70K – $100K (Depending on Experience) Position Overview A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accounting operations of approximately 8 facilities. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants broad exposure to financial reporting, audits, reconciliations, and multi-entity accounting. The Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting Experience with month-end close and bank reconciliations Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Healthcare or multi-entity accounting experience is a plus Key Responsibilities Perform month-end close for multiple facilities Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor balances Prepare financial reports and lender reporting Support annual audits and government reporting Investigate payroll discrepancies with the payroll team Partner with AP and AR to resolve accounting issues Assist with HUD lending requirements and special projects Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 2+ years of accounting experience preferred General ledger and reconciliation experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr
