Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial client interviews and comprehensive assessments to evaluate mental health status and establish baseline needs.

• Collaborate with patients to develop tailored treatment plans that directly address identified concerns and present problems, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Perform ongoing evaluations through the synthesis of bio-psychosocial information gathered from clients, families, referral sources, and other relevant parties.

• Accurately diagnose and treat patients by gathering critical information, including mental status exams, functional impairments, behavioral health, substance use histories, and trauma narratives.

• Exhibit competencies that reflect the current standards in chemical dependency and family therapy, remaining abreast of best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use. Your objective will be to empower clients by employing therapeutic strategies that foster resilience and recovery, addressing their unique needs comprehensively. Your interventions aim to not only alleviate presenting symptoms but also to foster long-term improvements in mental health and relational dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Current, active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
