We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, showcasing exceptional leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence. This role requires overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a positive work environment while driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling standards and sanitation practices.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate catering events and banquets, ensuring seamless execution from planning to service.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to maintain optimal stock levels for kitchen operations.
- Utilize the POS system for effective management of sales transactions and reporting.
- Foster a positive dining experience by addressing customer feedback and resolving any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in food handling, culinary arts, or related fields within the food industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of banquet operations and catering services is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using a POS
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and vendors effectively.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant management.
