Quick Facts:

• Location: Great Bend, KS (514 Cleveland Street)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing assignment
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-call: As needed, no more than 1 shift per week
• Holidays: Rotating schedule
• Hours/Week: 36-40 hours
• Employment Type: Full-time
• License/Certifications: Kansas RN License, BLS, ACLS, FHM (within 1 year), PALS (within 6 months), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP within 6 months)
• Experience: New grads welcome; previous Labor & Delivery experience preferred but not required

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Range: $30.00 – $36.50 (plus shift differentials)
• Shift Differentials:
• Evening (1500-2300): +$2.30/hr
• Night (2300-0700): +$3.75/hr
• Weekend (Friday 1900 – Monday 0700): +$3.00/hr
• Benefits: Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement options
• Additional: Relocation assistance offered; pay package discussed upon application

What You'll Do:

• Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases
• Monitor fetal heart rates and report changes to the medical team
• Assist doctors and nurse practitioners during deliveries
• Educate and support new mothers and their families
• Follow hospital protocols and safety procedures
• Document patient care activities accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes

What You Need:

• Kansas RN License (or eligible to obtain)
• BLS certification (required within 2 weeks of start)
• ACLS certification (required within 6 weeks)
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification (within 1 year)
• PALS certification (within 6 months)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (within 6 months)
• Previous experience preferred, but new grads encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
