Work Environment

Located in Miami, Florida, our clinic operates in a modern hospital setting that allows for a dynamic and collaborative work culture. The successful Physician Assistant will work onsite in a spacious clinic equipped with the latest medical technology and resources. The typical working hours are 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, concluding by 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant at Equis Pain Management Clinic, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of clinical tasks, including:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and assessing patients’ medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies to inform clinical decisions.
• Diagnosing a spectrum of health conditions, particularly focused on chronic pain management and rehabilitation.
• Formulating and proposing individualized treatment plans for patients with both acute and chronic health issues.
• Prescribing medications and managing patient medication regimens to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintaining meticulous patient records and schedules that comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Providing clear information about patients' health status and medications while educating them and their families on disease prevention and health maintenance.
• Advancing your professional knowledge through ongoing education and clinical research initiatives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Florida, with a valid DEA registration number.
• Formal completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, with a certification as PA-C.
• Demonstrated expertise in primary care, acute care, or chronic pain management, complemented by a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
