Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their pain levels and related symptoms, using a thorough clinical examination and appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, physical therapy, interventional procedures such as nerve blocks or injections, and recommendations for alternative therapies like acupuncture or chiropractic treatment.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes and improve patients’ quality of life.
• Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies, including lifestyle modifications, rehabilitation exercises, and medication adherence, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
• Assist in performing minimally invasive procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continued education initiatives aimed at updating the team on emerging pain management practices and technologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic specializes in treating a diverse population of patients suffering from various pain-related conditions, ranging from post-surgical pain to chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia and arthritis. We prioritize patient-centered care by integrating culturally sensitive practices that recognize and respect the unique backgrounds of our patients.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent medical education.
• Licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-Cert) by the Medical Board required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, specifically within a pain management or similar healthcare setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with nerve blocks, trigger point injections, or other interventional pain management techniques is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient charts and treatment plans efficiently.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 120,000–140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
