Work Environment

As a Physician Assistant, you will work Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour workday structure, allowing for a balanced work-life harmony while serving a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients and their families, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships that foster trust and support throughout their pain management journey.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations and utilize diagnostic tests to accurately identify the sources and types of pain affecting patients.
• Prescribe appropriate medication to manage patients’ pain conditions, ensuring compliance with state regulations and addressing individual patient needs.
• Educate patients about various pain management techniques, including lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise modifications, stress reduction strategies, and physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team by providing consultation services and discussing complex cases where specialized pain management is necessary.
• Monitor and support postoperative patients, administering pain medications as needed and ensuring they are well-informed about their recovery options and treatment plans.
• Investigate new methodologies and treatments in pain management through proactive research, contributing to the advancement of practice standards.
• Work closely with physicians to explore alternatives to narcotic pain medications, particularly for individuals at risk of addiction or overdose.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
