Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and a highly skilled team, including five medical doctors and five nurse practitioners, who work collaboratively in a Surgical Center setting. Our focus is on holistic pain management and rehabilitation, ensuring that our patients receive both medical treatment and supportive education.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our Surgical Center, where you will be part of a team that thrives on collaboration and collective expertise. Our work hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that typically wraps up by 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment. The culture here emphasizes team spirit and positivity, creating a supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant in Pain Management, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and evaluate patients’ medical histories to assess their health status.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and imaging studies, to assist in accurate diagnosis.
• Diagnose various pain-related health conditions and develop treatment plans that may include medication management and rehabilitation strategies.
• Prescribe medications and other interventions, collaborating closely with physicians for complex cases.
• Maintain precise and confidential medical records and follow prescribed schedules for patient appointments.
• Educate patients regarding their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Actively participate in ongoing clinical research and continuing education to enhance professional development and contribute to evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with patients dealing with chronic pain conditions, post-surgical pain management, and acute injuries. Your role will involve not just treatment but also advocacy for patients as you guide them through various therapeutic options, helping them understand their conditions and adhere to prescribed treatments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant healthcare discipline.
• Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of Florida, with a current DEA number.
• Certification as an ANP or FNP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Implement high ethical standards in patient care.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with proven experience in a medical setting, particularly focused on pain management, internal medicine, or emergency care. Experience in a collaborative clinic environment is strongly preferred, as teamwork is vital to our practice’s success.

Compensation and Benefits
