Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Assess and manage patients suffering from chronic pain conditions by conducting thorough evaluations, making relevant diagnoses, and formulating comprehensive treatment plans.
• Collaborative Approach: Work in unison with medical staff to establish personalized care plans, ensuring coordinated efforts to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Clinical Procedures: Perform necessary clinical procedures including injections, nerve blocks, and other interventions according to established protocols, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
• On-Call Coverage: Participate in the on-call rotation, providing timely medical advice and interventions as required, ensuring accessibility for patients during off-hours.
• Documentation: Accurately document all patient care activities, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring all records are meticulously maintained.
• Patient Education: Provide education to patients and their families about pain management options, helping them understand their conditions and participate actively in their treatment plans.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations and practices, upholding the highest ethical standards in patient care.
• Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and education to remain current with advancements in pain management practices, further enhancing your clinical competence.
• Quality Improvement: Actively partake in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient satisfaction within the Pain Management program.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults suffering from acute and chronic pain issues, including those related to post-surgical recovery, arthritis, and neuropathic pain. Your extensive medical knowledge and compassionate approach will help address each patient’s unique needs, promoting better health outcomes and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Active state licensure to practice in Florida.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative healthcare setting.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Pain Management or a related field is highly preferred, along with proficiency in various pain management interventions and treatments. Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is between USD 120,000 and 140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
