Work Environment

As part of a primary care outpatient office, you will be working onsite in a hospital setting, interacting closely with both patients and healthcare professionals. The typical work hours are 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, concluding each day at 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and documenting medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, including laboratory results and imaging studies (e.g., X-rays, blood tests).
• Diagnosing health conditions and illnesses, ensuring timely and effective treatment options.
• Creating treatment plans for chronic and acute health issues, including infectious diseases.
• Prescribing appropriate medications and providing thorough patient education on medication usage.
• Maintaining precise medical records and managing patient schedules efficiently.
• Communicating health information clearly to patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Advocating for and implementing disease prevention practices within the patient population.
• Participating in research and professional development activities to enhance clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be responsible for a diverse patient population, engaging with individuals of varying ages and health conditions. We emphasize preventative care programs, targeting chronic illnesses prevalent in our community, while also addressing urgent health concerns. Your contributions will directly impact our efforts to improve health outcomes and enhance the overall quality of life for our patients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree, with a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies being preferred.
• A valid Physician Assistant license in the state of Florida with a current PA-C certification.
• A DEA Registration number for prescribing medications.
• At least two years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical or hospital setting with a focus on primary care.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to ethical medical practices.
• A collaborative spirit, patience, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Bilingual skills are advantageous but not required.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 140,000 to USD 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package that encompasses:
