Deployment Engineer

Field Service Engineer – Autonomous Vehicles TractEasy is rapidly expanding its North America operations and seeks a skilled Field Service Engineer based in Denver, CO or Chicago, IL. The Engineer will deploy and maintain autonomous vehicle fleets at client sites, support training programs, and collaborate with a global field services team. Responsibilities Coordinate and perform deployment and entry into service of autonomous vehicles, with the support of a dedicated Project Manager. Manage the vehicle’s commissioning process, validate vehicle setup, and provide feedback on product support and improvement. Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance interventions on vehicles as needed. Install and configure autonomous hardware and software components on-site. Deliver basic and advanced training sessions, assisting customers with operation and deployment. Provide remote assistance to customers through the support system. Participate, with the Project Manager, in on‑road authorization processes by performing tests and delivering documentation to regulatory bodies. Report risks, issues, and scope variations, and support risk management and mitigation plans. Participate in continuous improvement of autonomous vehicle solutions from deployment to maintenance and operations best practices. Qualifications Technician or Bachelor’s degree in automotive, robotics, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience as a technician or engineer in automotive, robotics, or related industries. Valid driver’s license. Clean background check. Technical Skills Maintenance knowledge in automotive, robotics, or related fields. Appetite for cutting‑edge automation technology. Basic knowledge of CAN‑Bus technology, vehicle maintenance, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems (plus). Good presentation and communication skills. Proactive with strong customer and team focus, and a passion for service excellence. Ability to work independently. Self‑starter with capability to interact and work in a multinational environment. Strong technical acumen and problem‑solving skills, adaptable in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Business‑fluent English (written and spoken). #J-18808-Ljbffr
