ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER SAN ANTONIO TX 78212

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations for a growing business in San Antonio. This role is responsible for accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, bookkeeping, expense tracking, and monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate has experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software and can work independently while maintaining accurate financial records.

ACCOUNTANT / BOOKKEEPER PAY & DETAILS: Pay: $22.32/hr
Schedule: Part-time, 15-25 hours per week
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (flexible scheduling available)
Location: On-site | San Antonio, TX

ACCOUNTANT / BOOKKEEPER DUTIES: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain accurate financial records
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure reporting accuracy
Maintain organized and up-to-date bookkeeping records using QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with expense tracking and budgeting activities
Monitor and organize financial documentation to support daily accounting operations
Collaborate with leadership regarding financial data, reporting, and administrative accounting support
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling financial information


ACCOUNTANT / BOOKKEEPER REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED: 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial experience
Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
PREFERRED: CPA certification or currently pursuing CPA designation
Experience supporting small business accounting operations
Additional financial reporting or budgeting experience
