Make a meaningful impact in students' lives as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist supporting school-aged learners. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity begins August 6, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027. Work closely with a dynamic team to deliver compassionate, effective communication services in a nurturing educational environment. The caseload and specific placement will be determined based on your strengths and experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language (SL) endorsement
- Current Illinois State License through IDFPR
- Bilingual proficiency and experience in school-based settings preferred
- Open to first-year SLPs (CF-SLPs) who are eager to begin their careers
- SLP-As will be considered only with prior authorization
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across various grade levels
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with educational teams
- Implement evidence-based therapy tailored to student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster inclusive learning
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and ongoing professional development
