Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience delivering speech therapy in an educational or school environment
- Familiarity with IEP documentation, development, and implementation
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, families, and students
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups
- Conduct evaluations, interpret assessment data, and contribute to eligibility decisions
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and student support teams
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain timely, thorough documentation and progress reports
