Position Summary Permanent Full‑time Office Assistant (Typing) – Medical Services – Health Information Management. Location: Depot Park, Sacramento. Responsibilities File, index, and scan unit health records. Upload unit health records into the electronic system. Perform quality assessments of unit health records while maintaining security and confidentiality of paper and electronic files. Execute a variety of clerical tasks in support of the Health Records Center (HRC). Assist in modernizing the creation, delivery, and storage of health records throughout California’s correctional health care system. Support the integrity of patient health records within the Health Records Center. Background Under the close supervision of the Health Record Technician II (Supervisor) or the Office Services Supervisor II, the incumbent works in the Health Records Center (HRC).
