What You’ll Do

\n

\n
• Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through accepted offer
\n
• Prioritize active searches that align with your recruiting experience
\n
• Source passive candidates using LinkedIn, Boolean search, X-ray search, GitHub, professional communities, referrals, and other channels
\n
• Conduct structured candidate screens covering experience, technical alignment, compensation, location, work authorization, and career motivation
\n
• Present qualified candidates with accurate, compelling submission profiles
\n
• Obtain candidate consent and verify potential duplicate submissions
\n
• Manage candidates throughout interviews, feedback, offer negotiations, and closing
\n
• Maintain consistent follow-up and deliver a professional candidate experience
\n
• Follow all client, confidentiality, and submission requirements
\n
• Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records
\n
• Work independently while collaborating with Talent Stack on search strategy and candidate calibration
\n

\n

What You Bring

\n

\n
• 5 or more years of full-cycle recruiting or technical sourcing experience
\n
• Proven success recruiting for technology startups, software companies, or highly technical organizations
\n
• Experience recruiting software engineers and other difficult-to-find technical professionals
\n
• Strong understanding of technical positions, engineering environments, and startup hiring needs
\n
• Advanced sourcing skills using LinkedIn, Boolean search, X-ray search, GitHub, market mapping, referrals, and AI-assisted tools
\n
• Ability to assess candidates beyond keywords and submit only qualified, interested talent
\n
• Strong candidate-management, follow-up, negotiation, and closing abilities
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Ability to manage multiple active searches without sacrificing quality
\n
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the discipline to work independently
\n
• Your own computer, phone, reliable internet connection, and sourcing tools
\n
• Capacity to dedicate a minimum of approximately 20 hours per week
\n
• Availability for necessary communication during U.S. business hours
\n

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing network of software engineering, AI, product, or startup professionals
\n
• Successful placements with seed-stage through growth-stage technology companies
\n
• Experience supporting venture-backed startups with demanding hiring standards
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field
\n

Compensation

\n

\n
• 1099 independent-contractor engagement
\n
• Commission-only compensation
\n
• High-percentage commissions based on successful placements
\n
• Select searches carry total placement fees of $25,000 or more
\n
• No salary, hourly wage, employee benefits, or guaranteed income
\n
• Uncapped earning potential based on recruiter production
