Contracts Business Analyst

Apex Systems is hiring a contracts Business Analyst for a large Healthcare client.

Location: Fully remote anywhere in Washington or Idaho.

6 month contract with possibility to extend or convert.

Role Overview

The Business Analyst for Contract Compliance will support all aspects of contract compliance and administration. This role reports to the Director of Provider Network Contracting, Compliance, and Operations. The position involves contract language development, managing submissions to state regulators, and implementing agreements within the department's Contract Management (CM) system. The analyst will also contribute to process optimization and ensure all contractual documents meet established SLAs, legal requirements, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and build contract documents.
• Move documents through contracting compliance processes.
• Coordinate with matrix partners to communicate contract status and terms.
• Prepare and submit contract documents to the State of Washington regulator.
• Import regulatorily approved contract templates and implement negotiated agreements in the Contract Management system.
• Contribute to the optimization of contracting processes and the CM system as a business subject matter expert.
• Develop and maintain an alternative language library for staff.
• Perform quality and continuous monitoring to ensure documents adhere to departmental policies and legal guidelines.
• Serve as a backup on matters related to contract templates, compliance, and regulatory inquiries.

Required Qualifications

Education: A High School diploma is required.

Experience: Three years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or five years of related experience without a degree.

Technical Skills: Proficient to expert level in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Microsoft platforms such as Teams and Smart Sheets. A quick uptake to learn department-specific applications like PRMS and SERFF is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree.
• High proficiency in DocuSign.
• Project management skills.
