Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge sports medicine technology and spans over 5000 square feet, allowing our team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services in a supportive and innovative environment.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, where you will collaborate with a dynamic team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced approach to work-life integration while meeting the high demand for physical rehabilitation services. As part of our facility, you will have access to modern therapy tools and a supportive team environment that prioritizes patient care above all.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing and fulfilling the individual objectives and requirements of each patient based on their unique needs.
• Managing a patient load of one individual per hour to provide focused, high-quality care.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Developing and sustaining comprehensive treatment plans that employ a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Administering cost-effective therapies while minimizing reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Creating customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to protect and enhance patients' physical capabilities.
• Documenting all patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans accurately in our EMR system, utilizing software such as WebPT.
• Motivating and encouraging patients throughout their treatment process to maximize functionality and quality of life.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and rehabilitation strategies.
• Continuously evaluating treatment outcomes, monitoring patient progress, and adapting care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic outpatient practice primarily serves individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries. We prioritize personalized care, working closely with each patient to identify their goals and facilitate their path to recovery, emphasizing an active lifestyle, functional independence, and overall wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong background in designing exercise programs.
• Experienced in utilizing electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance workflow efficiency.

Preferred Experience

Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Practical knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation techniques is highly desired. Familiarity with sports medicine and strength training methodologies will be beneficial in delivering exceptional care.

Compensation and Benefits
