Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and circumstances of each client.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate within a team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists and social workers, to deliver holistic client care and achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document clinical records accurately and in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to remain updated on the latest research and methodologies in mental health counseling.

Qualifications

• A valid Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in clinical settings.
• Strong knowledge of legal requirements and ethical practices in counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse array of clients.
• Proven track record of working successfully as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other relevant applications for managing client data.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a community health setting is a plus.
