Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting that accommodates the needs of our patients while providing our counselors with the flexibility necessary to balance professional and personal commitments. Our typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to adapt to patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, delivering care to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at discussing common mental health concerns, fostering community, and enhancing patient understanding.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated approaches to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and be ready to support patients during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, outlining treatment options and directing them to community resources.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

• Engage in continuous personal and professional development by participating in team meetings, case consultations, and professional workshops.

• Stay current with the latest research, regulations, and advancements in mental health therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Proven experience in conducting robust mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n
