About the Role
East West Cuisine Hospitality is a multi-concept restaurant group operating three distinct venues hed NYC, hed 11, and hed Very Thai SF. We're looking for a highly organized, numbers-driven professional to serve as a right hand to our Founder & CEO, with a dual focus on financial oversight and private dining sales.
This is a hybrid role for someone who's comfortable moving between spreadsheets and clients equally at ease reviewing a P&L as they are closing a private dining booking.
What You'll Do
Executive & Administrative Support
- Serve as personal/executive assistant to the Founder & CEO, supporting day-to-day operations and priorities
- Assist with special projects tied to company growth and expansion across all three concepts
Financial Oversight
- Monitor and track P&L performance across all three restaurant locations
- Prepare cost analysis and flag variances in food, beverage, and labor costs
- Support budgeting and financial reporting for ownership
Private Dining Coordination
- Act as Private Dining Coordinator across hed NYC, hed 11, and hed Very Thai SF
- Proactively reach out to prospective clients and generate new private dining leads
- Respond to inbound inquiries and close bookings across all three venues
- Coordinate logistics and details for booked private dining events
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a restaurant manager, or a strong finance/accounting background with hands-on P&L and cost management experience
- Sharp, detail-oriented, and genuinely comfortable working with numbers
- Prior experience in private dining, events, or sales strongly preferred
- Highly organized and proactive, with the discretion and flexibility to support a busy multi-location executive
- Strong communication skills equally effective with clients and with internal financial reporting
- Available 34 days per week
Compensation
- $23$28/hour, based on experience
- 5% commission on private dining sales generated and closed through this position
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($23.00 - $28.00) plus tips
