Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting therapy sessions with couples, facilitating communication and conflict resolution strategies.
\n
• Providing individual therapy sessions for family members to address specific emotional or behavioral issues.
\n
• Developing customized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of each client’s needs and circumstances.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address various issues, including but not limited to: coping with alcohol abuse, managing grief and loss, navigating family conflicts, and discussing adjustments to separation or divorce.
\n
• Engaging in ongoing evaluations of client progress and adapting treatment plans accordingly.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic approaches to patient care.
\n
• Documenting patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including couples and families, as well as children and adolescents. Your expertise will be essential in addressing issues such as physical and psychological abuse, blended family dynamics, sibling conflicts, and communication barriers. Each therapeutic relationship you cultivate contributes significantly to improving overall family dynamics and individual well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A deep understanding and commitment to delivering evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient behavioral health settings.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
\n
• Prior experience with teletherapy or virtual counseling platforms (preferred but not required).

• Availability for at least 30 hours a week.
\n
• Flexible availability to accommodate client schedules.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
