Job Description
  • Cultivate Individualized Treatment Approaches: Assess patient needs and create tailored therapy strategies to assist them in achieving their personal goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care.
  • Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy methods to ensure ongoing progress at home.
  • Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical improvements and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their path to success.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is required.
