Job Responsibilities

• Craft Individualized Therapy Plans: Assess each patient's needs and formulate tailored therapy approaches to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations
• Deliver Therapeutic Techniques: Implement evidence-based interventions that support patients in enhancing their motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide thorough and effective care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers indispensable therapy techniques to facilitate progress outside of therapy sessions
• Track and Adjust Treatment: Continuously monitor clinical progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
• Ongoing education and specialized certifications recommended and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) needed
