Title: Sr. Payroll Accountant Type: Full-time Location: Houston, TX Salary Range: 70K-80K Responsibilities Handle payroll accounting, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and GL entries Manage PTO/vacation reserve tracking and year-end vacation payouts Process cash clearing transactions and employee stock purchase reconciliations Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries to the general ledger Reconcile payroll accounts, including wages payable, taxes, and benefits Must-Haves Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 4+ years of payroll accounting experience in an enterprise environment. Full ownership of: General ledger accounting. Accruals. Reconciliations. Advanced Excel skills: Pivot tables Power Query Financial modeling SAP S/4HANA experience. BlackLine experience. Enterprise payroll system experience. Plusses ADP GlobalView experience. SmartCompliance experience. This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client.
