Sales Engineer

WorkMagic helps DTC and e-commerce brands unlock profitable growth through AI-powered marketing intelligence, measurement, and automation.Instead of leaning on last-click pixels, WorkMagic triangulates across multi-touch attribution (MTA), media mix modeling (MMM), and incrementality testing—geo lift, halo modeling, and platform-specific measurement across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Amazon. And because growth doesn't end at the digital channel, measurement extends beyond online media spend to in-store and retail sales—including the halo effect digital marketing has on offline revenue—giving brands a true read on what's actually driving growth, and the tooling to act on it faster. We're looking for a highly consultative Sales Engineer / Solutions Consultant who thrives at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and enterprise sales. You'll partner closely with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Product to drive complex sales cycles and prove the value of incrementality-first measurement to senior decision-makers. What You'll Do Be the Technical Authority in the Room Serve as the technical lead across demos, proof-of-concepts, and evaluations. Explain measurement clearly to a non-technical audience: what incrementality results actually mean, how a brand should use an MMM to guide budget decisions, and why MTA still matters for day-to-day, channel-level optimization. Build credibility with both business and technical audiences to accelerate decisions. Read the Room and Tailor the Demo Partner with Account Executives, who own and run discovery—you don't need to drive the qualification process. Quickly digest the customer pain points surfaced before and during the meeting, then adapt the demo live to speak directly to them. Connect each prospect's specific challenges to the right part of WorkMagic's measurement methodology—attribution dashboards, lift-test design and readouts, MMM, and incrementality modeling. Sell on Value, Not Features Translate WorkMagic's capabilities into measurable business impact: more efficient spend, defensible incrementality, faster decisions. Build executive-level business cases and ROI-driven recommendations tied to each customer's growth goals. Frame measurement trade-offs honestly—including platform constraints (e.g., Amazon geo lift limitations) and the incrementality alternatives WorkMagic offers—so customers trust the recommendation. Own the Technical Validation Lead POCs and technical evaluations from scoping through results. Speak fluently to data integrations and APIs across ad platforms, commerce (Shopify and beyond), and the Amazon ecosystem (Seller Central, Vendor Central, Amazon Ads, DSP). Maintain a clear, current view of the competitive landscape and articulate where WorkMagic's incrementality-first approach wins. Orchestrate Across Teams Coordinate Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Leadership throughout the cycle. Align account strategies, timelines, and execution plans across stakeholders. Support proposal development, solution design, and commercial discussions as needed. Feed prospect and customer insights back to Product to help shape the roadmap and go-to-market. What You'll Need to Succeed 3+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Product Specialist, or technical SaaS sales. Proven track record supporting enterprise software sales in complex, consultative environments. Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer acquisition, media measurement, attribution, incrementality testing, or performance marketing. Ability to explain incrementality results, how to use an MMM, and the role of MTA—clearly, to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for C-suite and VP-level stakeholders. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the instinct to tailor a demo live to the pain points in the room. Experience in highly collaborative, matrixed organizations. Strong project and time management across multiple simultaneous opportunities. Self-starter who genuinely enjoys helping customers solve hard problems. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling MarTech, AdTech, e-commerce, analytics, AI, attribution, or measurement solutions. Direct experience with DTC brands, agencies, retailers, or consumer-focused businesses. Familiarity with data integrations, APIs, marketing analytics platforms, and performance measurement tools. Working knowledge of attribution, MMM, incrementality, or AI-driven marketing technologies. Experience supporting POCs, technical evaluations, and enterprise procurement. Why WorkMagic?
