Work Environment

Nestled in the heart of Smithtown, our rehabilitation center features state-of-the-art equipment and an inviting atmosphere designed to promote healing and recovery. Working onsite from Monday to Friday, with hours from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, our location provides a convenient and efficient work setting for both employees and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic care by collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and design concise treatment strategies that focus on rehabilitation goals, enhancing their overall therapy experience.
• Oversee and execute the majority of physical therapy interventions, while also providing supervision and guidance to support staff when applicable.
• Implement formal assessment techniques to evaluate and re-assess patients' functional status and progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• When necessary, deliver therapy services in patients' homes, ensuring continuity of care and support.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on exercises, the use of assistive devices, and therapeutic interventions to foster self-management and recovery.
• Organize daily caseloads based on patient needs, ensuring optimal staffing and efficient transitions between care providers.

This role will primarily focus on clients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders, positioning you to make a significant impact on their functional recovery and quality of life. The diverse patient base at Reliant Orthopedic Physical Therapy includes individuals of all ages seeking to regain strength and mobility. Your role is crucial in guiding each patient through a personalized rehabilitation pathway.

Qualifications

• A valid state license to practice physical therapy is required.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred; a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or the willingness to obtain it within 30 days of employment commencement.
• New graduates are welcome, and prior physical therapy experience is not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
