What You'll Do As an Inventory Control Technician, you'll help ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help keep production moving efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory records throughout the facility. Responsibilities Receive, store, issue, and track raw materials, work‑in‑progress (WIP), and finished goods. Maintain accurate inventory records and process inventory transactions promptly. Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories. Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with leadership to resolve issues. Organize warehouse locations, material storage areas, and inventory labeling systems. Support material movement between departments and facilities as needed. Work closely with Purchasing, Production, and Shipping teams to ensure material availability. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or material handling. Basic understanding of inventory management processes and systems. Experience using QuickBooks or similar inventory tracking software. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. OSHA safety training. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.
