Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing a telehealth platform or in-person meetings per client preference and necessity.

• Perform thorough biopsychosocial assessments, establishing personalized treatment plans that address both immediate and long-term mental health goals.
\n
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and systemic approaches tailored to individual client needs.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to ensure comprehensive care that supports clients' holistic needs.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations including HIPAA and BBS standards, ensuring continuity of care and accountability.

• Engage in weekly clinical supervision meetings and peer consultation groups to enhance clinical skills and team cohesion.

• Contribute to a positive clinic culture, fostering an environment of mutual support, creativity, and respect among all staff members.

Qualifications\n

• An active LMFT license in the state of California is required; candidate must not hold an associate registration.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in an outpatient, community mental health, or private practice setting.

• A robust understanding of family systems, as well as trauma-informed and culturally competent care practices.

• Experience working with diverse populations, ensuring inclusive treatment that respects individual identities and experiences.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, with familiarity in Medi-Cal documentation standards as an asset.

• Previous engagement in community mental health settings or clinics that serve a broad demographic and focus on accessible mental health care.

• A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
